The format is simple. What separates a good text RPG from a shallow one is what's running beneath the surface. A basic bot outputs a random number and calls it combat. Every command is the surface of something deeper. Here is what each one is actually running.
Real Combat
/exploreExplore and enter a fight. What resolves beneath it: hit chance calculation, crit check, block roll, defence reduction, damage type matching, and speed determining turn order and extra attacks. A single text command running a full layered combat system.
Class Evolutions
/profileStart as a Traveler. At level 15 choose between Warrior, Ranger, or Mage. At level 50 each class splits into one of two distinct final paths. Six total class identities, each with a different skill pool, block rate, and damage school. Every evolution is navigated through commands.
A Full Crafting Pipeline
/craftFour collection professions gather raw materials through /hunt, /mine, /cut, and /gather. You can refine them at the Workshop and produce weapons, armor, and consumables. A complete pipeline from raw material to finished equipment, run entirely through text.
Persistent Multiplayer
/guildGuilds run idle outpost progression with buildable structures and monthly raid rankings. Parties of up to 6 players share XP and have access to seven stackable combat buffs. Trading sends items, Golden Coins, and Gems directly between players. All persistent across sessions.
A Player Economy
/tradePlayers specialize in collection professions, craft materials into gear, and exchange through direct trades. The economy is player-driven. What sells depends on what players need and what others produce. No separate interface required.

/quests400+ structured quests spanning every zone and every stage of progression. More than twenty competitive leaderboards track performance across combat, crafting, collection, and social play. Both accessible through commands at any point.
Slash Commands and Prefix Commands
Every action in Trailborn RPG works two ways: as a slash command using / or as a prefix command using !. They do exactly the same thing. Use whichever feels more natural.
Slash commands show up in Discord's autocomplete menu, which makes them easy to discover. Prefix commands are faster to type for players who know the commands by memory. Both are always available.
