Trailborn RPG Patch 44

Trailborn RPG Patch 44

Three new systems land in Patch 44: a gift code system, custom command prefixes, and the Monster Codex, a permanent kill-tracking progression system that rewards +1% XP and Drop Rate per rank against specific monsters.

As with the last patch, parts of this update have already been rolling out quietly in the background ahead of today's release. That approach worked well, so it'll continue where possible going forward, meaning new features reach players a little sooner from here on. This patch brings three new systems along with a batch of quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

Gift Codes

A gift code system is now live. Use /gift_code or !gift_code to redeem a code for rewards, or check back on previously redeemed codes and what they granted. As with daily rewards, Golden Coin and potion rewards scale with player level.

Custom Prefix

Commands no longer have to start with a plain !. Use /prefix or !prefix to set a custom prefix of up to 4 visible non-space characters, turning !profile into something like TRPGprofile or $profile. Resetting back to ! is just as easy. Anywhere the bot would normally display a prefix example, it now reflects the prefix currently in use.

Quick Commands Access

/commands or !commands jumps straight to the Bot Commands list within the help feature, making it faster to check what's new after an update.

Monster Codex

Every monster kill now counts toward something lasting. The Monster Codex, accessible with /monster_codex or !monster_codex, tracks kills per monster and allows ranking up, up to 20 ranks per monster. Each rank grants a permanent +1% XP and Drop Rate bonus against that specific monster, and unlocks deeper insight into its stats and, eventually, its drop table.

Bug Fixes & Other Changes

  • Class change quests now display monster levels for required kills, matching the quest system update from last patch
  • Fixed the tutorial command reopening the character creation embed for players who ran /start but never interacted with its buttons
  • Added additional navigation buttons across several bot features
  • Fixed refinable materials not appearing in the crafting embed when a class filter was active
  • Resolved a broad set of background error messages, improving overall bot stability
  • Fixed collection quests for gathering, mining, hunting, and woodcutting that were uncompletable due to refined materials being incorrectly set as requirements
  • All website and in-bot guides updated to reflect these changes

Gift Code

A gift code is live with this patch. Redeem it with /gift_code or !gift_code for free rewards.
